consumables such as holy waters, and devil stars, in dmc 3 respawn?

i have played dmc 3 on normal dificulty yesterday, and started hard mode today, and noticed that a vital star s right at the start of the game, on mission 2, didnt spawn for me on hard mode, since i collected that same star in normal mode, is there any way i can colect those items again, so i can prepare myself for dante must die and HxH mode ?

They don't respawn. You can always grind Bloody Palace if you really need more resources, but realistically Normal is the tutorial. If you did some experimentation with the systems, Hard will test your knowledge properly and forces you to get rid of mistakes, getting you comfortable enough for the harder difficulties.

If all you did was struggle through Normal with gun and combo 1 spam(don't worry, we all started like that), Hard is still a good place to learn how things work properly.
