Tips for dmc2 bloody palace?

Ok so i'm aiming to 100% this game, and the only things left are reaching level 5000 and 9000 on dmc2's bloody palace. I've tried it multiple times with all characters and i can't get past 4600. Does someone know a good strategy to go about doing this?

i think i used a super costume and gone through green portals only (they skip 100 levels) when i did this

Thanks mate. I heard that the game had an ulimited DT mode, but i thought it wasn't on the steam port.

edit: it ain't working for me. I'm on lucia disc, having all modes beaten, and yet, if i hold L2R2 or L1R1 or a combination of both, it wont trigger. Whats going on?

The best thing that I can recommend is that you do it with Dante and that you have already bought the objects that you think are enough for the confrontations that you are going to have in this BP.
Another tip is to jump whenever you can and shoot with ebony and Ivory to enemies that are on the floor; especially the wolves that are the most difficult to kill.

To use the super mode cheat you can't be using English or Japanese language on the HD version. No clue why, my only guess is since it used to be PAL exclusive they did that for some reason. Also, after you fight all the bosses at the end it'll loop endlessly so when you feel like being done and you've seen it all, just let yourself die and you'll be returned to the results screen.

THANK YOU! that explains a lot. Originally the cheat was only available for the UK version so it (sort of) makes sense. Dunno why they didnt implement it in all languages/versions tho

I get floor 1002 and no 1000 floors achievementes ( Dante dmc 2 )
