Your computer is either unable to keep up, or running it too well.

Can you paste your specs?

If audio is ahead of video, turn down the resolution. If video is ahead of audio, use MSi Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server to lock the game to 60 FPS.

i can run the game at 60. fps smooth though. Seems like it is just the cut scenes. I dont think it has to do with specs?

If you're getting framerate drops during cutscenes, it'll desync. Make sure you are ALWAYS at 60 FPS... 100% of the time.

Still, if you're having the OTHER side of the issue, where the video is running faster than the audio, you need to manually cap the framerate at 60.

I had this problem when I was running the game at my computer's resolution (1900x1080). The audio and video synced back up when I reduced the resolution to 1280x720. I hope that info helps if it's a resolution issue

On DMC3, try toggling Turbo Mode on, if it doesn't work try using VSYNC

I can't say how it works on the other games but this is how it works.

Yea same here, played through all of part 1 and just dealt w/ it. Hoped it would just go away in Part 2 but no... it didn't. How do I force the game to just run at 60 fps? There's no vertical sync option in game???

I know it's a couple months old, but if you're still wondering, if you have nvidia, there's an option in nvidia control panel. It's under manage 3d settings- Program Settings -Max Frame Rate. I had to use this recently on Prince of Persia 2 Warrior Within, going to see if it works on the DMC HD Collection.

Guys! My audio was running faster than video in game-rendered cutscenes, (exemplary, the first meeting of Dante and Trish)
And I was able to fix it by turning off vsync in nvidia control panel for DMC1, not it's all in sync.

for me switching to 1280 x 720 helped fix it, idk why but it works

For anyone having this issue,
It has nothing to do with your computer specs or any crazy setting
Just set the max and min frame rate to 55fps, you can do this through the options on your graphics card menu, and the audio will be synced in the cutscenes just fine
Atleast that's how it worked for me
