Platinum trophy achievement missing?

I'm not sure if this has already been adressed, but does anyone know why the DMC games seem to be missing their respective platinum trophies as unlockable achievements?

For example, when you do everything in DMC4:SE you get the "Devils Never Cry" trophy on console, but I can't find it on Steam. This seems to be the case with every game in the franchise, but only on the PC version, so I'm wondering if there's a specific reason for it (being somewhat of a trophy hunter myself)?

That's just because it's a "Platinum Trophy" Most of the time when a game is muti-platform the Platinum for the PlayStation versions is just something that gets added just for that version. Xbox or Steam games typically don't have an "achievement for getting all achievements" unless the developers go out of their way to make one. but on PlayStation having a final "Platinum Trophy" is mandatory.
