Cloud Save
Why did they remove cloud save for this game? Is there a way I can download my old progress?

Use CTRL+F to find Devil May Cry HD Collection after logging in. From there, you can download your save files by clicking the download button next to them.

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(UserID)\631510\remote\ and put your save files inside of that remote folder. This is the folder that DMC HD Collection uses for the settings file and save files. The part I titled UserID is your unique user ID for your Steam account. If you have logged in with multiple user accounts on your PC, there might be multiple user ID's and you'll need to figure out which one is yours.

The solution was quite old to be honest. Best you can do is to upload your save on Google Drive or other cloud services.

Do a full shut down on Steam then re-launch Steam and open the game. If it it didn't work, delete "remotecache.vdf" then do it again.

Can people confirm that their old cloud saves from before the feature was disabled still appear on the remote storage page? I have some old saves that I'm trying to delete from the cloud because my local saves are causing a sync error. But DMCHD's isn't listed for me.

I don't have it sadly. Probably because it's only accessible to players who bought the game
before Cloud Save removal.

I bought the game during 2021 and it doesn't show on the list.
