Cmon Capcom, its the only main RE game not on PC!

I swear the game is gonna be ported to the Switch and demaked for the SNES and Jaguar before we get a PC port!

Id love to see it on pc. It should be easy to port because it was released on x360 before, though im not a big fan of that version.

Some people hated it because of the weird looking shadows. But i actually like it, and you could clearly see they've put some work in the HD version.

I dont really hate it though. I like the shadows too, but it think it looks weird compared to how the rest of the game looks. The game was a little darker, which was nice and made the lighter more useful. But i also felt it messes around with the colors or something, or maybe its just me. I also prefer the older portraits. Then theres the water. That also looks nice, but like the shadows, it kinda stood out from the rest of the scenery.

And thats the main problem i have with that version. Its an okay port. It updates some effects and it looks nice, but they dont touch everything else. I'd rather have them redo everything so that it feels like a complete package, or just leave everything as it is (apart from resolution maybe) because now i feel some effects just really stand out from the rest of the graphics.

At this point, just use Dolphin and play it in 4K, with filtering and anti-aliasing. It looks and plays as well as any Capcom remaster will.

It is dark as hell, I had to play with the lighter on, while I didnt have that problem on DC, PS2, or GC.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO ASKS FOR IT! Thank god, i thought that game was forgotten by everyone. Code Veronica deserves a good port on Steam like the other games. Im tired of playing it using emulators. I also want the real thing dudes, with achievements, HD textures and else.

Would be nice but they already are ruining 2 with a fps remake so my hopes for true remasters of 2 3 and cv are gone.

It will be some random port of the Xbox 360 "HD" job...nothing impressive but preferred over emulation.

Having a proper port would probably mean mods to the game as well :)

Even if it's just a Barry Burton reskin, I would already be happy.

You can play the GC version (the best version) on Dolphin, I dont think emulation is the problem, the problem is the lack of a proper PC release.

Glad i saw this thread. I have the game on Dreamcast and gamecube but have never played much of it.
Now I want to do a series playthrough including RE 1, 2 and 3 on PC, RE 1 HD remake , RE 0, re4, 5 , 6 , racoon city and code veronica in there somewhere, then play RE 7 and then RE 2 remake .

Im happy with both resi code v and devil may cry hd on 360 especially as they cost £3.75 on sale on xbox live.

DONT give crapcom your money.
They have made a mess of this game and they would make a mess of porting code V X to PC as well. IF your really wanting the best expeience for the game just get the dolphin version as it plays LIKE A DREAM. You can force the game to run in a buttery smooth fullscreen with AA on max and various other settings.

Something capcom would probably screen up and then abandon like dead rising 3 or lost planet 2
