Not really, depends on what you find hard in the game, to me it's never the reaction time, it's enemies attacking from outside the camera.

I prefer to play without turbo mode tbh. It makes the gameplay feel more methodical on default speed plus some telegraphs become too fast for average human reaction time with turbo mode on. Then again I'm also the kind of person who really digs DMC1's slower combat.

The problem with turbo mode was that it made some moves (like million stab) much harder to execute.

It makes DMC 1 feel like molasses, I really hope someone mods a turbo mode for that. Nihlfist is right for instance the Cerebus charge comes out really quick in turbo mode. But it makes the combat so much more fun in my opinion.
