Secret Mission 5 error/glitch

I can't seem to access secret mission 5 (the one with the two spiders) in the intermission after mission 7. I go into the room, and it loads the three lightning enemies without loading the secret mission, every time. I'm on hard difficulty.

You meaning during Mission 7 not after it right?
You go to that room while you're holding the guiding light after running from Phantom...

You need to grab the blue orb fragment/yellow orb in the corner of the room right before the room with the secret mission. After you grab the orb, the secret mission will be accessible.

This right here. The Secret Mission 5 won't be accessible unless you pick up the hidden blue orb fragment nearby. When you first start Mission 7, go down the seemingly empty dead end and face the broken wall to trigger the orb fragment. After that, Secret Mission 5 should be available in mission 8 or during the intermission.
