Most challenging part of the games for you?
For DMC1 it's gotta be nightmare 3. ♥♥♥♥ that was hard

Couldn't play through 2 long enough to beat it cause it was bad.

For 3 it's Cerberus on a fresh playthrough. You have no skills or powerups. It's easier on harder difficulties or if you come back cause your all powered up and it becomes ez mode

Nelo Angelo 3 as far as Hard goes. Haven't got to DMD yet, but Mundus 2 was the hardest when I beat it on the PS3.

Surprisingly, Nightmare 3 wasn't as tough as I remembered him. Died, maybe 3-4 times on hard? I kept trying to go in close, and attack the orb... but then I realized it was easier to just stay back, and use Ifrit to fireball him.

DMC 1 Secret Mission Critical Hit.

Nothing compares...

Fresh new game on DMD. It's the only thing that can challenge me for real, been playing the series since their conception.

cerebus on yellow orbs is very tough to beat for a first time player.

DMC - S ranking Mission 20 on DMD. Was the only mission I didn't get an A or S on :(

DMC2 - Nothing really stands out it's all easy. Unless you're going for the Bloody Palace 9k floor achievement, which again isn't too hard just extremely time consuming. Takes 5-8 hours to do.

DMC3 - Any secret mission I try to do on first playthrough that requires a style that I've neglected to level up so it becomes harder than it should be.

DMC 1 - Dante Must Die, I decided to skip it for now unti lafter I learn to speedrun NG Dante Normal, will return with better strats.

DMC 2 - Dealing with bosses, my mashing sucks and the only thing doing damage is mashing during DT..

DMC 3 - Haven't played for over a decade so I cant recall, prob some of the Vergil fights?

DMC 1 - DMD bosses, every single one of them was tough, maybe except for Nelo Angelo 1/2.

DMC 2 - I haven't played this one, but hearing from people on this forum, there was one boss in particular which was so tedious and bad that it's hard to believe that the game was even tested. The fish boss fight in Lucia Must Die difficulty. I've searched it up on the Internet and man... I'm glad I never got the chance to play it.

DMC 3 - Mission 18 on DMD, especially if you're going for SS rank. Screw that chess section!

DMC2 - Argosax. Without guns (I've come to the point where slashing enemies with sword was way more fun than hold X) it's freaking difficult to beat him.

Pop an Untouchable, stand in the fire and Devil Trigger the crap out of him. That will reduce a massive part of his health bar.

For me, to be quite honest... the stupid Secret Mission 4 in DMC1. Those Shadows can pull off some stupid tight combos and reduce you to paste before you even have a chance at popping a V-Star.

If you stopped relying on using items, maybe you'd realize it's a very simple task to deal with 3 Shadows. You can pop a single handgun shot to lure one out towards you, then DT and pump lead into it and destroy that core with 2-3 DT Stingers. Repeat for each Shadow for easy win.

I never really like the Arkham fight in DMC3 never really clicked with me. Vergil isn't very hard in comparison. That guy loves using patterns and at point becomes easy to figure out.

Hardest challenge has to be playing DMC2. Even starting the damn game is an Idea i dread more than any DMD mode in the series.

Vergil 3 and Mundus on DMD are a nightmare. 1 combo is instant dead by these guys :/
DMC 3 Arkham second part fight on DMD

You could've given me that tidbit of information without the condescending attitude. Items are a part of the game, they're there to be used.

He was being condescending. But talking about how to make things easy with items is kind of pointless in a topic about the difficulty when everything becomes easy with items..
