So, Morrison is now a black guy?

According to this, the first guy we see is no other than Morrison from Devil May Cry anime. I'm fine with him being in the game, but why the hell would they make him black? What's the point?

Well, it was someone else designing the anime version, so if game designers for some reason think changing his look drasticly will improve the general quality of story/gam, then I can accept it.

I mean, it's just skin color, it won't have much of an impact. I just find it incredibly odd because I would've never guessed it was him.

Yeah I wasn't sure it was him until I was explicitly told either.

But who knows, maybe his general character in game is also different and more fitting to his new look.

I think it still is. They certainly talked like it was a thing during the interview. Then again it probably won't matter since I don't see them adding Patty either way.
