Having a Bit of Trouble With Nelo Angelo
I'm really a noob to this, and so far I've been having a lot of trouble beating Nelo Angelo. I've fought him maybe eight times now? I can always get him into the red, but then I end up getting hit by his little light ball thingies. Are there any patterns and stuff I should look out for in order to kill him faster? Sorry if this is dumb.

Just train, train, train. Watch videos or something that would help you learn tactics against him and his patterns. After you have defeated him in DMD, you will be amazed that you were struggling with him on normal mode. You have to know how to read him in the battle. With practice comes skill, and that's basically my advice. You can ask if you are having more troubles.

You can use fully charged Ifrit when he's blocking to stun him. You'd need to get your timing right, but it's not too hard. As for jumping away from balls, you'll get used to it eventually. Timing is everything.

Hardest part of his 3rd fight however are summoned swords, and for that I cannot give you any tips. You'll pretty much have to predict what's going to happen and quickly react to it.

Wrong. Nero Angelo blocks both Air Raid and Vortex after a few hits at most. If you want to actually make use of DT, use it with basic slash combos (I remember one of the Alastor combos being able to infinitely stunlock him as long as you're in DT) or slash cancels, if you don't mind cheesing

Yeah, I remember that. Still, If I recall correcly air raid is safer and does either slightly more or slightly less damage than regular slashes, plus i think you can circle around nelo's guard. I played this game like 10 years ago or so and have yet to play it on pc so i might as well be wrong here
