System Requirements
Hello, my laptop isn't very good, it can run games at max from around 2010. I notice the system requirements for this game are quite high, is the recommended an exaggeration or do I have no chance of running this well?

Considering you give literally zero information about your system it's very hard to say.

I apologise, PC isn't my main system so I'm unsure on how to give more information

You see these games are semi-emulated, and if your fps goes below 60fps the game will slow down because the physics of theses games are tied to framerate. So you have to ensure that you have enough horsepower to keep that 60fps.

With that kind of GPU, it would be rather difficult to keep a stable framerate. 720p tops, without AA. Even then, I'm not sure it will go well.

It's generally reported that if you have slowdown, it's probably going to happen at certain moments in DMC3SE. There's certain bossfights that are way more intensive than anything else in the collection.

If you absolutely need to, the resolution can be manually edited in options.sav. This way, you can drop the resolution to say, 960x540.

I can also just change the resolution through the launcher

Yes, but the launcher's resolutions have a lot of arbitrary limitations. The complaints that this port doesn't support 1440p or 4K (despite the fact that it does if you're willing to mess with a text document) stem from this oversight.

Overall, the launcher has a lot of interface problems. You can set it to 480p, but if you want something less drastic a custom resolution is your best bet.

My laptop doesn't support 4k
