On one hand I agree with you because these games are from almost 3 generations ago.
It makes no sense in that regard for them to not be on sale.
On the other hand, games like this would usually be priced at $10 each if you were to buy them separately.
Seeing as this collection is a trilogy, the base price is still fair in that sense.
I don't see him complaining about the price.
It's the fact that in every CAPCOM/DMC sale, this always gets left out.
I think the price is fine, but I don't want this bad enough to pay it full so I've been hoping for this to go on sale. Really I just want to play DMC3 witha working port, DMC1&2 aren't that important to me
I said CAPCOM/DMC sales. It's slightly discounted sometimes but it's never part of major sales. And was it? From what I can find, the last time this was on sale was October 2019 https://steamdb.info/app/631510/

No it wasn't, you can see on the linked SteamDB page, just scroll down to check the price history.
The DMC HD Collection is always going on sale on these sites.
Edit: Steam censors the names of grey market sites.
