DMC3: Fixed Style vs 4 Styles

so the recent news was DMC3 Switch version/port will get Style Switch , where user get to switch style in game like DMC4.
Originally DMC3, you have to pick 1 style and start the mission and cant switch style when started mission.

The style switch seems only comes to switch port , sounds doesnt fair
what do you think ?

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't they implement the style switch right with the launch of HD collection on PC? Well, my guess is that they had in mind that there is a "Style Switch" on PC, but as a mod for the game, and for the nintendo switch, HD collection wouldn't have any mod support. So that makes it kind of fair... I think.

To be fair, the mod version is actually better than what they are putting into the switch version.

If they don't upgrade HD Collection with this feature the day that switch version comes out It would be really low blow from them. I mean style and weapon switching at fly? It would be completlly new gameplay that even I would be satisfied.
But then again we still not have DMC Definitive Edition on pc so it seem they don't care about PC.

Capcom won't patch the game because they don't give a ♥♥♥♥, same as all their other titles. It's totally unfair because DMC3 is the best game in the series and this will make it the definitive KING of DMC adding in every missing feature.

i think if they patch it into DMC 3 of DMC HD Collection, they might get more sales & $ , but why wouldnt they do it ?

seriously you can get a better version of the features they are implemeting by puttin in the style switch mod, it also has weapon switching and a boss rush mode.

Some people want an official version over a mod that can honestly glitch out at times. Just saying. Plus it REALLY is an annoying move to have more content gated out in different consoles, since I assume the Switcher mode won't also be patched into the other consoles.

Like, I hate that sort of stuff, everyone that has the collection SHOULD get that version of DMC3 patched in and replaced with the one currently in. Tho' I'm sure people would ♥♥♥♥♥ about it since it'd break the current mod.

but who knows, maybe people will data dive and find out that it's just a copy and paste job to get that into this one, take that pipe dream.

Correction. Even without any mods, you can switch styles mid-level, but you have to find a goddess statue.

I dunno, they removed Games for Windows Live off most of their PC titles, moved them over to Steamworks, AND brought over the missing RE5 DLCthat the PC version skipped well after the fact of anybody holding out hope.
