hi why this game doesn't work with playstation 4 controller? and how i can play with playstation 4 controller without downloading any program as third party?

You need InputMapper. So... you can't without a third party program.

no . but i want to let playstation 4 controller work without downloading any programs like other games sample rocket league if i start the game and i use playstation controller it work dirctoly and no need any program

What? Steam pig picture controller tools is not a third party software. It's steam, in big picture mode, the top right button next to [minimize]. It's a very useful mode for those who play their games with a controller, as you can download profiles from the comunity in one click for games that have controller issues, like I had recentely with Dishonored 2 and Prey for exemple.

I just started using it, and I admit it's convenient.

My PS4 controller works flawlessly without any 3rd part software. Go into Steam Big Picture Mode, go to settings (gear icon), then to controller settings, and check PS4 controller support.

Its that simple ;)

I'd like to add that you also don't have to access big picture mode at any point to use it anymore. You can change any general controller settings from the desktop settings and you can edit the controls for any game by clicking the configure controller option that appears under "Links" while a controller is on. You can also set it to not use the big picture overlay when playing a game with a controller.
