Weapon switching on Hard difficulty setting.

Heya how are ya? I don't seem to recall not being able to change my weapon configuration in regard to the Hard difficulty. I didn't know if the game is supposed to be like this on this setting or not. I never encountered this problem in the old PS2 version and I wondered if limiting your weapons to the Rebellion sword and the Beowulf gauntlets is how the game is supposed to be in the HD version. Anyway else encounter this? Thanks in advance for any help someone might kindly offer.

Now I can't switch guns on the 'Equip' screen either. I tried Normal setting and it's the same way. So what do I have to do uninstall and re-install the game all over? This is ridiculous!

I'm assuming you're talking about DMC3?

DMC3 only lets you bring two melee weapons and two firearms at a time, it's always been like that. To change what weapons you're using, you can do that either before you start a mission or you go to a God of Time statue.
