Report a translation problem
Type 631510 in the search bar, and there will be either one or two folders named that. One of them holds screenshots for the game, one has save data. Find the one with save data and open options.sav with Notepad. You can change "width" and "height" to 2560 and 1440, respectively. After that, hit Ctrl S and close the document. You shouldn't have to change it again.
I also forgot to mention, it has a different directory if you're playing on Twitch. It'll be under Documents\My Games\Devil May Cry HD Collection if you're playing over there.
1080p is the most common name of 1920x1080. Stop being so pedantic. Just like saying 4K, or 1440p.
It lets you choose any resolution supported by your monitor directly from the game's launcher.
Backing up all affected files would get around that concern.
