This is a HD port, not a remaster, what did you expect.
You can quit the game from the game's main menu, but I agree it's faster to use alt-F4.
Enjoy it for what it is. Lament it for what it could have been with a little tlc. It probably took more work to make the dmc crossover equipment for MHW than this port.
The infamous DMC3SE PC port works great with mods. You can disable blur and fog filters. Run the game in any resolution you want to. 16:9 and 16:10 support. 144hz support. Ability to switch styles on the fly like in DMC4. Ability to switch between all the 10 weapons. Customizable controls. Working XBOX360 button prompts. High quality music. Boss rush mode. Ability to choose invidual levels and maps. And more.
Capcom cant even compete with some random modder who does this on his free time. And yet you're ready to suck some big corporation♥♥♥♥♥♥
Not at all. It's an HD port, not a remaster. All it implies is that it will run at high definition resolutions, nothing more.
Plenty of games have been called "Remasters" that are just as basic ports as this is. So remaster , HD, it's all bunk. Shouldnt' be in there at all.
The audio assets aren't higher sample or bit rate. The artwork isn't higher resolution. FFS it's a PS2 game and they couldn't even be bothered to implement MSAA and instead use quick and lazy FXAA.
At least they removed the horrible motion blur effect present in the original game and the PS3/360 versions of DMC1. That alone makes it worth it. Unfortunately it's still present in DMC3

even the 2007 port manages to look better and closer to the original in some areas.
Yeah. The soundtrack is actually on worse sample/bit rate in this collection compared to the original on emulation lol

I don't understand how Capcom can screw even the music like that.

Just because its playable it doesn't mean that it don't need fixing.
Many many things:

That's not even mentioning it not supporting 1080p+ resolutions from the launcher.
Like i said: just because its playable it doesn't mean that it don't need fixing. Believe it or not some people have different standards.
