You want to study his moves, before taking him on. Since I'm veteran Player from many years back. I can pretty much beat Vergil without damage on Very Hard and below.
Obviously i can't help you to get good at the game. But my advice. Equip Rebellion and Beowufl and use trickster as style. Basically whenever he does attack avoid with Trickster, and attack him until he blocks. And simply repeat, until he goes Full DT mode.
In this stage he gets more agressive. He will either start with a helmbreaker spam. Which is very easy to avoid by just running around. Second attack is his usual combo, when he launches you in the air and finish you off with a helm breaker and stinger. To avoid this, by running and when he finishes his combo with a stinger use trickster to avoid. Repeat these steps until his DT mode wears off. You're free to attack him after this. Once he blocks again, he can do an Ultimate judgement cut. But its random with each fight. He usually has 2 forms of judgement cuts. First one is across the whole area. so try to avoid with Trickster. Second one, is much easier to avoid. You simnply have to run.
At this stage you should have almost beaten him.
good luck ;)
Vergil 3 wasn't easy in any difficulty other than Easy. Unless you're one of those no life weebs who have an obsession with DMC's combat
Yes he is. Anything under DMD, Vergil fights are quite easy.
Like with any game, practice makes perfect.
I guess you aren't aware that this game is 13 years old. So plenty of time to get good at a game :P Can't really help that you're a casual scrub ;)
