The HD Collection would essentially be every game made before this:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/329050/Devil_May_Cry_4_Special_Edition/
Just consider this: Capcom has actually un-rebooted the series, bringing back the original Dante for MvC Infinite with several rumors about DMC5 floating around. That leaves DmC as a weird non-canon entry that doesn't have a place in the main series, and I'd say that's for the best.
If you were so smart you wouldnt have a worthless steam account. ;)
Thank you for the info. But the begining of your answer has me still confused.
"No, it's DMC1/2/3SE."
Is the DmC reboot game included in the HD Collection?
No. It's not included, it's completely different game made by different studio. Capcom didn't make this game they only acted as a publisher. There are Devil May Cry HD Collection (which includes first three games of the original series), Devil May Cry 4 / Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition (Special Edition is an improved version of original game) and DmC Devil May Cry (which is a reboot of the classic series) on Steam
Original Series by Capcom:
Devil May Cry HD Collection
- Devil May Cry [2001]
- Devil May Cry 2 [2003]
- Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition [2005 / SE: 2006]
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition (Not included in the HD Collection) [2008 / SE: 2015]
Reboot Series by Ninja Theory:
DmC: Devil May Cry [2013]
Thank you for the educaction on the series, i'll buy on Steam & XBox One.
Well no. Having similar titles to past products can easily cause confusion to anyone that's unfamiliar with the given franchise.
That shouldn't be hard to understand. You see it all the time, it's no surprise at all.
SSadistich!!
