Singleplayer game with combat like this one?
Since I won't be able to guarantee a stable net access for a while I was wondering if anyone knows a singleplayer (offline) game with combat similar to this.

I don't really care if it is "instanced" or open world.
Both anime artstyle or a more realistic aproach are fine.
At least decent story would be appreciated.

Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Have you tried DMC3/4, Darksiders1/2, Castlevania LoS or Bayonetta?

Only played DMC Devil May Cry, really didn't like the focus on air combos. Though the combat did feel really good.
I actually have darksiders 2 but never played it. Gonna try that one thanks.

Dark Souls is my standout action combat RPG.. but the combat is more slower paced than this game, and much harder. Bloodborne is faster paced, but not on PC.

The stuff the other people mentioned are a lot more fast paced and flashier, and I would recommend all of them as well in each of their own ways.

Neir Automata has an online component though, but it's just with seeing dead bodies and being able to gather some money/temp buffs from them or have a temporary AI ally; not very useful. Dark Souls is also partially online, with invasions or co-op or messages left by other people, so you lose a bit of the experience playing offline. Neither are required though.

If I had to pick one, I'd go for Nier Automata if you really want to experience an engrossing story. Just be sure to pickup the FAR mod, as the game has technical issues and never received a patch from SE despite the many complaints over the last year.
