Always launching in wrong resolution

As title says, my game always launches in the wrong resolution. I have to change it every single time I play, which is annoying.
I have tired changing steam settings, change and saved in-game settings and also changed geforce settings.
Has anyone got a solution. It doens't prevent me playing, but it's pretty annoying.

You should reset your config files. These files are not deleted when you reinstall the game.

You can go to the %localappdata%\Mordhau\ folder, take a copy of those two folders to place somewhere else, and then delete the original two folders. This will reset all of your settings back to defaults.

I reinstalled windows recently, so the files were removed and reinstalled, still having the same issue though.
