Game crashing instantly? Recent random crashes?

If you are suddenly experiencing the game crashing at launch, it may be due to a corrupted custom mod or map. We use a platform called mod.io to handle this. Please go to www.mod.io, and log in with your steam account. You do not need to create an account, it exists already. Then find Mordhau in games, and unsubscribe from any mods and maps. Then restart steam or the game.

If the game is experiencing crashes that are new, it is possible the your settings may be corrupted. Navigate to these folders and delete them. This will reset all settings, so beware. If you cannot find them, then you will need to enable "show hidden files and folders" in windows. This location is not in your steam install, but in app data in local under your user name.

With the new update it seems the Nvidia sharpen is causing problems and crashing the game for alot of people the fix for anyone looking is to go in the Control panel under 3D settings make sure sharpening is selected off and hit apply than go in the program settings and under the mordhau drop down do the same

It fixed it for me and a bunch of others so far so gl everyone

I don't have custom anything and was playing ranked and after a match where i believe the other player forced me out i instantly crash when i load up ranked

Game is crashing when loading into the Grad map only. Unity Crash Report does not open up either so it appears the game is just turning off instead of loading into he map

I have looked all over the web and have tried everything and I still can't get this to work, whenever I hit play I see the confirmation to launch and click ok and it just doesn't load mordhau. The button loads and then goes back to the green play button. I've tried working with the antivirus, reinstalling and deleting all the files, I've tried launch options, I've tried quitting steam and just using the exe, running it on admin, etc. and none of it has worked. I would really appreciate some help.

I literally bought this game yesterday to have it crash before it even starts launching. Very bad first impression. All I did was Verify Files to make it work.

I can personally say this is one of my all time favorite games and also one the best sword fighting games in existence, I understand the frustration with the bugs and crashing which i am dealing with at the moment my self. But i wouldn't give up on Mordhau just yet the game is Amazing.

Hey well i was playing like in a normal match and i turn off my pc by accident and when i was entering to my steam again i saw that my Mordhau was uninstall and all my characters were deleted and i try to uninstall and install again the game but nothing happens i just got the default characters and nothing more pls help me to restore my characters.
