Vac Check Timed out

Why does this keep hapening ?
Everything was normal ... Normal by I Would keep getting disconected or not gain xp and gold after each match.
until the new update came and now I cannot see a server for more then 3 seconds.
Can someone please fix this game?

Unplug any usb except keyboard/mouse, start steam as administrator

Never mind, I reinstalled steam (deleted the steam related files exept steam.exe)
And it works.
I just cannot get a brake from internet related problems.
I hate my internet since i live in ocenia.
Better find a way to get to america.

I dont have any usb pluged, only mouse and keyboard and I have this problem

same issue for me here. Did you delete mordhau as well when you reinstalled steam?

I have this problem. Tried everything in the article. Repairing the steam service allowed me to play last night, but this morning its not working. Tried repairing again and doesn't work. Reinstalled steam and Mordhau... doesn't work... This is so frustrating.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DELETE ANY GAME DATA !
Just go to steam locations ((properties, open file location)) and delete everything except the folders,games and steam.exe.

ok, I think I've fixed this. I tried what OP said, and it didn't work for me. Tried a repairing steam files, tried reinstalling Mordhau, running as admin etc. etc. Basically every potential fix I could find on the net. In desperation I deleted ALL traces of steam from my PC. That includes every steam game... EVERYTHING. Sounds drastic, but I've been playing fine ever since. I also emailed the devs directly as they haven't seemed to acknowledge this issue. They replied pretty quickly and confirmed that its a known issue and the are working on a fix. So you could wait, or try what I did. Its a drastic response to a stupid error, but it worked for me.

Everything was fine until the new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ update came.
I tried connecting to The same server and it kicked me 3 Times !
FFS.
The connection keeps still disconnecting in every game, eaither in the biggining ,mid or end of it.
And even If I don't get disconneted, I wont get my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gold and xp sometimes.
I'm Done, I was hoping mordhau was worth it but no.
I might have lost around 20.000 gold and 10 ranks from the stupid disconnections !
Maybe I will come back to the game when it is less ♥♥♥♥♥ and more functional.

This is a game issue and it need addressing. Nothing with my system has changed since the patch... Before patch. Worked fine. After patch, VAC check timed out.
