There is a very very steep learning curve. So long as you are able to accept the fact you are going to die alot and get beat by the very few players that are left playing. The game has been on a steady decline and the remaining playerbase are mostly people with 500+ hours.

I will add though. If you manage to get through the hard times of learning.(best way to learn is to get beat up a lot) It can be quite fun and rewarding.

Game is skill centered, but we don't touch newbies if they are not aggressive

Compared to Chiv2 Mordhau has better graphics, balance, interactions, balance, mechanics

bro HELLA recommended, if you are scared for your skills there are still some servers with 1v1s (it's often called FFA), you can train with high lvl and if ur lucky lower lvl players without sacrifying your rank (no one plays ranked on this game anymore), overall this game is hilarious, realistic, rewarding, satisfying, bro i don't understand why ppl play chivalry 2 tbh, makes me sad :(
