High ping only on this game

Hello, for some unknown reason I always seem to get very high ping in this game, and this game only. I can play other games fine with <70ms ping and then get 350>ms in Mordhau, on servers that show low ping in the server list.
Anyone had a similar problem or has suggestions on how to solve this?

My only suggestions would be to experiment by joining servers based on region until you find ping. Try to be the first player in the server and let others join you. Connect to your modem with a wire instead of wifi. Ensure nothing else is using the internet from your side of the connection. Also limit disk usage by closing unnecessary apps as certain configurations do not run well with windows(specifically an HDD vs an SSD). Sorry my tech skills be limited.

I miss the old days of 40ms ping....

Im base line 100ms now.. Its been getting worse every week. 250ms spikes make it unplayable and it doesnt matter what server u play

yeah, in most games I used to have a 70-120 ping, this one is never below 200

In battlefield I get 80-120 in full servers.. in this game I get no less than 200

typically in other games I get 20-40 ping, but in mordhau its always 60 and up for 48 player servers and in 64 player servers its 80 and up

Games calculate that value differently. Mordhau includes the server frametime on the scoreboard calculation for example, so you cannot directly compare a number from one game to another, because it isn't always just raw latency and is often approximated.
