Will there be a Mordhau 2?

I hope that in the near future there will be another game bearing resemblance to this one, whether that be mordhau 2 or something else I am not sure.

I am not entirely sure that I trust the developers of mordhau to create and manage a worthy sequel however, as I feel as though they dropped the ball on this one.

the devs are working on a game but apparently it wont be mordhau 2, but who knows what the future brings.

Their next game isnt even confirmed to be mordhau like... safe to assume when this game dies (soon just look at the playercount) chiv 2 will be it the only one left to play unless you like For honor which is worse than chiv 2 somehow. This game had a good chance to be more but questionable dev decisions ruined it. The new player experience being hell isnt good for retention either.

It keeps getting updates simply, but currently i dont think any updates are confirmed to come. It dies when the low playercount makes servers redundant. How many modded servers do you still see populated guy?

gonna give my honest opinion. I LOVE MORDHAU. but i HATE MORDHAU. i think the devs screwed up and wont make a mordhua 2............. BUT. I think they might make a game similar but another setting. perhaps different time period or fantasy.

more likely, they will disband and mordhau servers will be rented community servers only.
but i do think we might see years from now that people who helped make mord might contribute to other titles similar.

HEATED OPINION TIME - Despite the mord devs making amillion mistakes and kinda being idiots in alot of ways (everyone is sometimes... or alot of times) , they did make my favorite pvp game and ive played since launch (6 years) and most people didnt really think about the fact mordhau is an INDIE GAME that was helped get released my backers and still sold like 1 MILLION COPIES BY A MONTH OR 2 OF BEING RELEASED.

thats impressive. especially for a small indie team.

plus lets be honest, yeah mord is "dead" in normies terms but alot of veterans still go on everyonce in awhile.


what indie niche pvp title has people still playing 6 years later?

Why do you want Mordhau to be dead? It's a great game. I just came back to Mordhau after a two year absence, due to life issues. My computer and connection is garbage, but I still play the game with high ping....and I enjoy it. I just wish we could run private servers with this game.
