Does War Axe need a nerf?
Any time I see somebody with 100 kills on the Castello then it's always somebody with War Axe and Bloodlust. And it's always like that, all pub top places are full with people using War Axe. Isn't it the reason to nerf it? Maybe its cost?

And don't tell me something like "top players will use something else then", because that doesn't mean we don't need to balance things. I just want meta floating and people try new loadouts.

I don't see how you could nerf it without making it completely worthless

Why are you not asking for a bloodlust nerf, that's the issue. War Axe is a great weapon that kills very fast (2 hits to anyone except t3 legs), that combined with the crazy advantage a single person gets 1vX and throw in a full heal every kill and you have your recipe for an 'excellent player'. Bloodlust is the issue.

You can have t3 head/chest, bloodlust and a war axe.

1-Reduce the healing to 50 points that's 15 extra from the standard 35
2-Keep the healing at 100 but make it where you need to decapitate someone to activate it
3-A mix of both

I do agree that bloodlust needs a nerf and I have few ideas

I'm happy with most changes to it that aren't instant full health. Instantly starting to regenerate would be fine (and it not stopping while you attack/do stuff) for X seconds.

As I said, nerf its cost to 18 for example and watch how it will be. It better to just apply some nerfs and check the result, than theorizing about will it be worthless or not.

I already proposed some bloodlust changes in different places, and will maybe upload video with possible rework later. But I still think that War Axe can get some changes, because in my opinion it's still very powerful even without bloodlust.

Em, no? I think the Messer or ExecSword are good examples, because they was nerfed and people still use them, but Zwei was perhaps overnerfed and I don't see many people with it, because Bardiche or Halberd are better and such long weapons are just very inconvenient on many maps currently. You are from USA, maybe your players use it more often, but in Russia and East Europe I don't see many people with it.

tbh i find war axe to be the post op weapon in the game, everybody always screams about maul but i played with both, dont get me wrong both of em are quite strong but i would say that waraxe is just stronger

I see more balance problems with the exe sword than the war axe, or maybe the problem is t3 armor, why should t3 armor die with 2 hits? that makes no sense, it would make sense with t2 armor, t3 armor should be a 3 hits kill with the exe sword or war axe and other smaller weapons should be 4 hits, except if the damage is on the head, then 2 hits. Thats the best way to fix this ♥♥♥♥

Higher TTK would be interesting. It would also add more variety to weapon balance. Currently most weapons are already 2-3HTK, but in Chiv1 there was weapons with 4-5HTK, and while it's would be hard to balance, it would be still very interesting.

Yeah, higher hits to kill, less healing and less perfect defence would be great. Game is about fighting but when you mess up for an instant and die it's not as fun. Longer fights usually let skill show though too, short fights favour luck more.

Yes, some fights seems very long, you just riposte each other or try to feint, deal no damage, but then you die for one-two mistakes. I would like to see weaker hits which land more often.
