Unable to connect to the backend:
-there's a compatibility issue with ice lake cpus, a workaround is in this link:
https://www.pubg.com/en-us/intel-ice-lake-cpu-crash-workaround/
-Being behind a VPN,
-Being in a country that blocks Microsoft Azure servers (such as Turkey),
-having your system time zone out of sync. watch this vid:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kRhHErRyns
-possibly the weekly steam maintenance
are all issues that can cause this
you can also try starting steam as admin.
actually, running steam as admin seems to work.... hmmmm

After every update/hotfix you gotta allow Mordhau in your firewall. Atleast with Bullguard. If I don't I also get the "Failed to connect to backend"
I have the same issue started a few hours ago , seems like a server issue
Maybe it's server problem
