Temporary ban?

Don't know how it happened, but I think it might have been due to me mentioning the fact the servers were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bed today and blaming the devs for it? Anyone else experience this? Thanks

why else would he be banned?

never been banned but had kinda similar issue not so long ago when i were not able to join any official server and 1 single unofficial one (weird), things got fixed by themselves. I guess if you get a ban you will get a notification as well but i am not really sure

About types of bans there are only two of them, official ban and global ban. With first you cant join official servers hosted by triternion but still able play on custom ones unofficial. With global ban however you are not able to join ANY server in the game, only local matches. Both bans can be temporal or permanent depending on decision made by moderation.
Also yeah, there is also mute preventing you to use chat, can be temporal and permanent as well.
You can use mordhau scribe site to check your profile, usually there is red text showing you're banned (or muted) under your nickname if so

The only thing I can think of that I did was getting kicked from a server due to "chat spam" which was caused by the server having a massive lag spike

From what I can see, no bans nor mutes have been applied by any moderator for this Steam account for official servers. Can you give me more detail about what server this was, and what duration a ban you received?

I can also confirm that you would not be muted or banned for criticising the servers or the developers. You are free to criticise them all you want, providing you don't break another rule in the process, like use of slurs.

oh then thats just a 10 min ban from the server you were kicked from as far as i know

Thats probably what it was, since it was an 8 minute ban.
