Cross platform

My friends desperately want me to buy this game but I play mostly on pc, is it cross platform between pc and Xbox? I can't get a straight answer online

if i was cross platform pc players would ♥♥♥♥ on console players so bad it would be unplayable for them.

straight answer is no its not. you should buy it anyway though its great fun just wait for a sale.

Oh lawd... We boutta end their whole careers. No but seriously, imagine playing this with gamepad vs m&k. Now pit one player from one category against one from the other. Yeah the idea of playing with friends cross-platform is fun, and a larger playerbase would benefit all available platforms. But given the nature of games like mordhau I don't think that would be good for player retention long-term. At least they should make it an opt-in/out feature for console.

No man. Not even remotely. Trust us when we say this. Is it possible for someone to play halfway decent with it and compete with a m&k user on the lowest skill level? Sure. Is it possible to bridge the gap during high level play? Not even remotely unless you're like a top 1% player or smth.

This game is all swing manipulation and precise and snappy camera controls. You need to spin on a dime or make minor course corrections in the blink of an eye. It will be extremely difficult to progress beyond basic accel and drag with an analog stick. Trust me after a certain number of hours things start to get... freaky.

It's almost like balancing the game around drags and accels was a terrible idea.

But yeah, RIP xbox players.
