Where are the female characters at?

I've come back to Mordhau after a long break now that I have a better computer and completely expected the models and voices to be added to the game by now.

Did the devs cave to the toxic crybabies who couldn't stomach the idea of having women in a fictional Medieval combat game? If so, that's very disappointing :/

This is game about war, not a fancy sport

Stabbing is far more effective at killing than the crazy swinging we see in game and in films etc.

My point still stands.
You can be small and weak AND also be an Olympic gold metal fencer, but if you are small and weak you will still most likely get steam-rolled by an enraged brute with a wooden stick.

You want women in a medieval fighting game? It's too much of a stretch, call it a Fantasy fighting game and we're fine.
Yeah, there are lots of unhistorical and silly things already in the game. But if this is the whole point, then let's just add dragons, helicopters and tanks too.

This is supposed to be a accurate medieval game if you like it or not.

Female character was a kickstarter goal, that got reached. it's a confirmed planned feature, like it or not ;)

it hasen't been released so far, but it is a confirmed feature. As fedora said, SDK (modding tools for the community) is a more pressing matter for the devs, and they're not wrong, modding is doable in mordhau, we even have a dope star-wars mod now, but it's done with a whole lot of "ductape" and workarounds to get the desired results. It's a bit of a mess and the game could become so much more with the right tools, so it's pretty fair for them to focus on that for now.
