Here's a screenshot of the lead developer confirming that all that they promised during the alpha was that they would never add DLC/MTX that affected combat, which they never have.

Optional DLC is not compulsory.
I think this game was good, but I never spent more on DLC. I just don't believe in it, when it should be unlockable ingame content. In saying that, it has been active for years and some optional $ towards the devs keeping it running for people that want to pay it... idc.
I barely touched the cosmetics and just had a stack of gold anyway.

So you can't refute the statement. What is in your proof is unfortunately not worth much as far as I can translate it, because the developer left the back door open. See his reference to his memory. So there is no 100% promise "It won't happen".

Apart from that, we all know the games from other developers and arguments like "You can't buy that in the game." No, you can't buy it directly, but you can buy it through the back door. (translated)

Also read the comment chain. it is promised that none of the mentioned will come, but the developer has left the back door open to break the "promise" because the project manager may have "remembered" wrongly. I'm not concerned here with the question of whether DLC is good or bad, it's just about the proof, which unfortunately is not really good proof. (translated)

What more proof do you want? The screenshot shows that the devs would never add micro that affected gameplay, none does currently.

Besides your evidence for otherwise is...not existant.
