When starting game it crashes with pakchunk9-WindowsClient.pak missing

When starting game it crashes with pakchunk9-WindowsClient.pak missing, does anyone know how to fix? I already tried to restart and start as compatibility versions.

Go into the Mordhau\Mordhau\Content\Paks folder of your Mordhau install folder, and locate pakchunk9-WindowsClient.pak if it is there. If it is, delete that file.

Once you've deleted that file, go into the properties of the game and Steam, and verify the integrity of your local files, it should reacquire that file.

deleting file doesn't work, ive been crashing like that 2 months now midgame

The only reason for this issue to occur is for that file to be corrupted. All you can do is to verify your game files through Steam multiple times.

You might need to consider moving Mordhau to another hard drive temporarily, to ensure the hard drive isn't causing these issues.

I tried verifying the games tons of times... and it didn't worked out, tried to move and install on diferent drive, still same issue... best solution was to request a refund. Now it's working... but not here.
