Battle Axe still seems way too powerful in its CQC mode.

i feel bad for enemies if i use it, its unreadable feints and way too fast swing speed is uncannily easy to play with.

when can we expect nerf on it?

any weapon with fast speed becomes a problem if you have high ping as you will not be able to parry on visual reaction (which you need to)
something funny happens when you are hit by combos, iduno if its raw latency but you get sub 300ms time to respond with a parry to the combo accel from baxe else you get a red parry, while the actual combo is like 600ms so something isnt adding up

its probably just polearm animations tbh

Problem with axes is not speed or readablity(as bastard sword is the king there) but the damage, baxe and waraxe easily 2 shot tier 3 armor, at an incredible speed, they will also lock you out of chambering a drag due to wicked fast accels. Axe also has very dumb overhead animations and 3 shots tier 3. A simple solution would be to slow the release a bit or to simple reduce the damage.

The whole problem with the game is how fast you can die. It favours luck so much and that's why things like battle axe/war axe shine.

This is true. That is why i quit playing it. Also some of the animations look so broken, and you likely won't be able to play this game with your full potential if you don't have a ping lower than 30. The game is fundamentally broken almost in every regard.

main mode is vastly better, more range is essential and the alt mode work will work only on people who are new to the game, as the alt mode is so short you can reliably zone it out and sprint out of attacks
its much, much harder to do that against main mode
main already has stupid fast combo speed making the alt mode just a one trick pony

The way i see it in the top 200 (1v1 and 3v3), Battle axe is NEVER used in long range mode. They use feint after feint and the close mode. even against 3 people, because it is unreadable and FAST as hell, or if you do it properly, you can combo slow AND fast feint very unreadably.

This comment made me decide to directly look it up, and I do see a few key differences. Baxe alt is 525ms, as opposed to waxe's 625. That feels like a pretty significant speed difference, and it also made me notice that the damage for those weapons is absolutely bizarre. Waxe does more head damage to everything but heavy head, but baxe for some reason, despite doing less torso heavy, does more head heavy.

For real? I just started playing and my ping sucks, lowest I've got is like 60. I find it really tough already with my latency. Sigh.
