As much as i love Mordau, on average it has 4k players. If a whole bunch up and go to chiv its not good on the longevity of the game.
it is more fun but the duel is type of issues need fix up but the funny thing is you still can duck under the blade.
played it and no I don't feel clunky or slower that probably depending the update on your computer / how much space memories / or you have very old computer which I just recently have a new computer for it is rocking for both for mordau and chiv 2 beta. This is pretty much we discuss about the archer in the game for yes the archer bow and arrow feel very "weird" and when you grabbing throwing block of giant stone pretty much that also felt weird but in some what weirdly right in chiv 2 but the only problem is mordau follow the correct point of dmg on a person who is and not wearing armor because details about ppl wearing armor from simple throwing a rock at the air still do attend to kill no matter what.
not entirely true we don't need mordhau's combat, but still the dev can work it's kink to "correcting" it and if the dev thought of "ok we will give that long block like chiv 2 and have stamina drain" that system is easy apply for mordhau's combat because both game can be forgiving or both can work with each other. Heck, come think about it I remember my friend yammering about the 2 game and saying "why not just have these 2 dev work with each other so it can be truely made to be fair game" I don't know it would be wise but if they ever do for I prefer be the 1st one wanna tested it if they ever work with each other.
*edit*
For yes the chiv 2 is quite chaoticly out of hand, but the players aren't aware being mordau players and regular wham ppl but the only reason why it is chaotic because chiv 1 pretty much was the one who cause the cake to fall (short meaning, chiv 1 was everywhere in xbox 360, ps4 in thous old version game that why we have so many casual players or dumb block players who never experinces mordau)
At the mean time, mordau is only on the PC and never on other gaming station because the design was never meant for controllers for it would be wise if they did release for other gaming stations for the players could of had compare it better and not being weeb of chiv 1 and thinking "this should be casual day like chiv 1" so we mordau player can at least pour the salt on their wounds. Yet again, I understand the "dev" don't want go on "the other gaming stations" for he could of gain giant bucks of money there if he did and servers would a stablish severs a whole some more and also the biggest funding money could of had ever roll up into this "dev's pocket".
I think the reason some people find chiv2 combat clunky is because mordau combat its incredibly fluid specifically in the non duel servers, where hitting the top of the scoreboard means running around naked with a 2H doing 180 swings.
I can't say that I feel that excited about how Chivalry 2 has added new elements. Things are far clunkier in Chivalry 2. Animations are far worse, movement is janky, the combat system is a lot messier. But I guess this is what the devs wanted. Torn Banner wanted the game to feel like a drunken brawl, not a medieval combat simulation, which Mordhau is.
They both offer something unique, so I love that players have variety in what they want to play, but lets be honest, when Mordhau first released, they changed the game. I can't say the same about Chivalry 2.
Oh boohoo boyo. it's a discussion thread, you can agree or disagree with my claim.
I guess if I were to put it better I'd argue that Mordhau combat is usually treated like a fencing match as opposed to Chiv 2s brawler combat.
I doubt it. Imo they will mostly work on further dlc.
That's not an opinion, Mordhau is not a simulator you clown.
-Give dodge to everyone
-Make feints cost more stamina
-Make missing parries less punishing
