Accel and drag removed when?

refraining from dragging and accelling is akin to cheating in my opinion, you are playing outside the rules of the gameplay

They literally are not game breaking, the devs said they were intentional like years ago.

This is where the skill comes in. Try a fight without it, you and whoever you're fighting will just swing and parry all day long. I do think accels can be a bit extreme, so much so when you add a bit of lag they are instantaneous.
