Make the quarterstaff not a meme weapon

Chivalrys quarterstaff was a pretty great weapon. I'd really like to see the quarterstaff taken out of meme status. Taking 5+ HTK is just bad. It could fill a spot that does not really exist right now in the weapons. A longer reach faster blunt weapon. Maybe a consistent 3 shot kill across all armor types for about 10 points. Lindybeige actually has a good video on why quarterstaffs were pretty effective weapons,

Any also notice how stabs and strikes literally do the same damage with it if you hit the same area? Pretty sure its the only weapon with these kind of damage values.

It's still fun to use, I'd just increase its speed a bit.
In fact, instead of increasing the damage, I'd rather nerf the damage of most other weapons a bit. Those constant 1-3htk are getting rather boring.

btw: Why is everything a "meme" these days? Can we somehow get rid of that stupid word?
