So just block. Don't even bother attacking, just focus on blocking. You might not get the kill but you won't die either.
The more practical form of this is essentially just flexing on people, in higher levels, nobody actually does this, since it's highly counterable and isn't really even that difficult to read once you learn to.
When somebody doesn't something that looks sketchy, they're going to be hitting you with close
to the very end of the swing, since otherwise, the strict turn cap would prevent them from landing it. As such, it's countered just like any other drag, but even more easily, since they can't see what you do. You can footwork out of stuff like this easily, gamble it with faster weapons, you'll usually be able to land a kick, as they can't see you, along with several other minor things that I won't bother listing.
Point is, just like everything else, it's counterable. Whether or not you choose to learn how to counter it is up to you.
they don't look good and they are insanely hard to read.
Oh i know, its about what 290 degrees with drags? seems legit. The clown swinging doesnt get put off balance at all my it. Seems legit.
I mean another thing that ♥♥♥♥♥ me to no end is the game decides at some point a swing has "started" and anything it touches takes full damage. Now on one hand, okay fair enough. But on another, wait what? If i was where the weapons swing point started from (wearing plate or chain mail or w/e) your swing doesn't magically go through me. If anything your swing would fail because you wouldnt have the momentum to carry the swing through the obstacle. It defies logic. Then it goes through the next 4 people as well. I mean the absurdity of it...
Broken janky trash is a pretty fair description lets be honest. Original post says it all. I actually want my money back.
The most I've seen is 285 for the turncap, but those are with one-handed weapons. Whereas with two-handed weapons, you'll see 245 being the most. Even then, you can't reverse overhead or start and attack inside someone.
Yes, swings have active frames and anything that touches those frames will end up taking damage. It's the same thing as Dark Souls having invincibility frames when dodge rolling, but I doubt you'd complain about those.
As for plate and chainmail armor allowing cleave, it's a balance thing, this game isn't supposed to be realistic, otherwise longswords would be useless against plate armor, and instead you would have to wrestle the armor off your opponent like they did for real, which doesn't fit with this kind of game. Sorry video games are just that, a game, it's supposed to be fun, not real. It's the same reason you have a health bar instead of organs and blood.
"Broken janky trash" isn't a fair description considering the game works. If you wanted your money back, you shouldn't have played for more than 2 hours, you even played over 200 hours, which if you do the math, you basically paid 15 cents for every hour you played of it.
What's next? "The Wolf Among Us isn't realistic because werewolves don't exist"? Yet, it seems you enjoyed that game. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197977279244/recommended/250320/
And at 15c an hour i still haven't got my monies worth.
If you mean this phrase, it doesn't mean that the game is realistic, but that it has some realistic elements. It's a balance between the 2 aspects, not a combination.
not so much on ♥♥♥♥ like gs and zwei
i spin around just to dab on people but left sided sweep lookup spin or right sided lookup poke spin at neutrals do work pretty well in general
