Game crashes on launch? Try this

If anyone is crashing when your game launches, please try to delete any client-side mods you've previously downloaded to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mordhau\Mordhau\Content\Paks folder. Do not delete any of the "pakchunk" files, as these are needed for the game.

If you have no other files than the pakchunk ones, please read below about modio mods.

The best thing that should fix any mods issue is to go to mod.io and login with your steam info. It subs all the mods from every server you join to your steam account on mod.io. When you login go to the mods page that shows all mods for Mordhau and on the right side click the filter that says Subs ^ and then any of the mods that show up with a green box in the corner you are subbed to and you need to click it and unsub from them all. Then once you do that go into your Mordhau installation folder > Mordhau > Content > .modio and delete the entire .modio folder and then verify your game files once you do that.
You can start Mordhau once you do those steps in that exact order.
You can use this as a more automated way of finding and unsubbing from your mods or if you have a ton of mods subbed. It was made by Fulgure.

If your game appears to be crashing but you've already tried the mod.io fix - you may have a .pak that is causing you to crash. Navigate to %localappdata%\Mordhau\Saved\Logs - Open mordhau.log and look at the top of the log for a foreign pak (anything not pakchunk(x)-WindowsClient). If it's there, find it in your game install and delete it. Verify game integrity and launch your game.

Also you can try to turn off Nvidia Image Sharpening/Scaling in the Nvidia Control Panel.

I deleted the game and reinstalled it. It helped

Crashes right after the start up logo. I've literally never touched mods for this game, so that shouldnt be the problem. I also checked that Nvidia Image Sharpening/Scaling was disabled. Still crashes every time.

Edit: I revertified the files and it seems to be working now.

Have never been able to play this game since I bought it. Reinstalled, verified, disabled all GPU enhancements etc.

Log file always indicates the following.

Reinstall / Verify doesn't help.

Have you tried verifying the game's files in steam?
You can ask for help in mordhau_tech_support channel in official Mordhau discord.

I've tried everything that you have suggested, there was never anything in the pak files or logs to delete, nor no mods to unsub from on mod.io and it still isn't launching. I've validated files, run as admin for both steam and mordhau, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. It still just loads the unreal engine logo, and then just stops running.
