Adding a katana

It would be sick for the devs to include weapons from other medieval cultures. Weapons such as a khopesh or a katana. Stuff like this would give more diversity to weapons and history within the game. Plus who wouldn't want to swing around a katana?

Devs wanted to focus only on late medieval Europe, I think its because they want to keep scope and flood the game with every club glave and Zulu Impi from each corner of the world. Maybe a Japanese sequal to Mordhau in the future you can hope?

Not just Japanese weaponry. just other cool weapons from other places. A sabre, a flammard, Chinese hook swords. Just other cool swords. Regardless of where they are from.

Or even different armor styles from other places and time periods. Just something for in the future to add even more variety.

OP its fine you want a game with Mordhau's combat but on a different region/time. I agree, but i don't think adding asian weapons to a europe based game is a good idea. Maybe their next game is gonna be based on Japan if enough people like the idea, who knows?

I dont really like the idea because so far its stuck to the european style of weaponry and armor . I think it would be a little weird. But I wouldn't mind a some sort of sequel where there is more Medieval items from other cultures Europe,Asia,etc. If you want a samurai there was a really good guide you should check out. :)

My suggestion is the coat of plates alt. with messer and the skinny curved blade. Make the handle black and the pommel + Cross Guard Gold. Bun hair maybe a beard, black or grayish hair, most eye colors work, no helmets fit so just try a no helmet, llamar shoulders work with splintered legs and arms with red or black. if you have the points spec into a bow or something. I hope that makes it close enough for you :)

The Steel Asian Armor is a bit different than Steel European armor, As the Samurai armor had to be folded to be strong, some cases heavier than European armor. The best category they could put it in is Medium, But i don't think we'll see Tier 3 Heavy Asian armor

It would be very [REGRESSIVE] of them to add Katanas, like imagine all the cool ♥♥♥♥, like sabres or flails or fokken polehammers, but fokken Katanas? That ♥♥♥♥ is a joke. That's a bastard sword length weapon held exclusively in two arms that is absolutely useless against anything that isn't cloth and flesh, Katanas are a joke of a weapon
