Blocking Kick

Why the ♥♥♥♥ can you block kick now? Countering it was a great addition to Chivalry kick mechanic. BUT. Blocking it with a sword is really stupid. Makes it pointless now.

I think the change is fine because there would be situations where the only answer to a kick would be to kick indefinitely, like being stuck in a corner, at least now you have a chance to do something else.

Yes but now people panic block and block it. It ruins the effectiveness of it.

Which is why you should feint or morph into your kicks to catch people with them

but if i hit them with an unblocked kick i might as well just hit them

yeah i thought the point of the kick besides gaining a bit of space is it breaks through blocks. i mean if you tried blocking a kick with a sword, the kick is still gonna jolt you back and slam your sword into your own chest at the very least
