Ok, so I played through the tutorial, then started building my character and then soon realized I didn't have enough money to buy a weapon and I can't figure out how to get one. Do I need to join a match and wait on someone to die and pick one up or something?

you have to use the preset classes first to get money

I can't even buy them cause there's no prices for me :(

There is problem with money and exp for the moment, so you wont get anything right now.

For doing tutorial you should get 2500 gold.

IMO presets should become unavailable after you get to atleast lvl 5, sick of seeing hoards of claymore and spear clones everywhere majority of other weapons don't even get touched

they should have matches set in tiers ie. peasant ( can only use peasant weaponry)
they have a perk for it so it's doable

Simple armor you have already unlocked for each tier at least one peace, only weapons you need to buy. So to be honest you can create your own character right now and be on the same lvl as presets.

And weapons used by presets will be also used by customs (since lvl 1 if they buy them) so locking presets after x levels is pointless.

For example i play with spear on my custom character and i see a lot of customs with claymore.

how do I buy weapons? theres no prices on things in my armoury

That may be related to the problem with getting exp/gold. I bought my spear yesterday so don't know if anything changed since then.

Also i get gold for tutorial and now i see that there are some people that didn't get, so again it can be related to that problem.
