how is it cool?
The whole "I don't like it, so YOU can't have it either, because 'reasons." is really old, entitled and annoying.
This game is not a cake, there's plenty of fun to be had, even for us and it takes nothing from you. And - If you see a woman on the battlefield, you can cover your eyes to protect yourself from the 'oh the horror' - I'd be more than happy to use that to my advantage for some free keelz. IJS. XD
No matter how annoying women can't stand up against men physically. It makes zero sense having them walk around on a medieval battlefield(or really, any battlefield).
It's really dumb he mentions feminists I agree, as I don't think it has anything to do with what the OP wants. But they would ruin immersion, which is kind of a big deal in a game such as this.
If people want to play as Joan of Arc-style characters, there's no reason they shouldn't. Bring on the stacked fitthicc amazon battlewaifus.
Wrong. Women can absolutelly swordfight, if they're trained. Speaking as someone who practiced swordfighting for about 10 years of my life, participating on medieval battles (some rather large scale), while wearing a plate armor - you'd not be able to tell if I was a woman or not, unless I'd take my helmet off (and that'd be idiotic to do, in the middle of a battle). These battles, you REALLY don't have time to check who's under that plate armor, and ♥♥♥♥ around, that can get you hurt, badly.
If you want to throw 'realism' arguments around, please, at least know what you're talking about.
Also, again, not a game set on pure-realism, historically speaking. The game's focus is on swordfighting.
Are you seriously trying to imply there aren't any games out there with great immersion that have a HUD? For if that is the case you might want to take a long deep look in the mirror and reconsider finally finishing elementary school.
"Hello other internet user. I will have you know I'm an authority on this topic as I have decades of experience in..." yea dude no. Nobody is going to believe you and it's a fallacy on top of that.
Women didn't fight in medieval battles. Maybe a very rare occasion and then it'd be a very special occasion as well. Men perform better on strength, accuracy, speed, endurance and even reaction speed(https://shapeamerica.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10671188.1963.10613242?journalCode=urqe17#.XMeugKRS-Uk - first link I googled). To me it's a complete waste of time to add them to this game as it breaks immersion just for a handful of people wanting to live in a fantasy world.
