increase fov
chivalry has a fov command that allows you to increase fov so much it turns ur camera upside down. i found the fov command in Mordhau but it doesnt seem to actually do anything. i also tried editing the baseengine.ini file. anyone been able to increase fov passed the slider amount?

anything passed default creates a crazy fish eye effect for me. I just leave it at 78

Fov can wait, we still need helmets to affect vision. kinda lame, not seeing that sweet visor blocking my screen.

being able to see everything happening 90 degree's to my side with no effort, would trivialize tactical decision making, so im against a fov increase.
Kind of annoying when people can see things, they certainly shouldn't be able to, in an awareness based game...

can't sneak up behind anyone in shooters these days, because everyone has eyes in the back of their head, due to bogus Fov's. its lame.

i seriously don't get how people can enjoy playing a game with some crazy high fov. I had to even get used to the default fov on my ultrawide with this game.

not a problem. u get used to it in order to see whats around better. without being in 3rd person that is. i never liked 3rd person for these sorts of games. i played chiv with 120 fov if i remember right

The last thing this game needs is more chiv cancer.

i mean the game already has it. ppl just havnt caught on yet. pretty much only thing u cant do from chiv is a behind the back down swing and thats debatable. ive often hit ppl behind me with a qstaff on a lmb.

While i did try 150 at max FOV, I dont know but to me around 130-135 seems perfect.

The main problem I have with increased FOW is the fact I misjudge distances afterwards. I tried many settings but I leave it to 78-80 cause on many occasions, I thought I was too far to be hit and I was wrong.

i agree wutg Lu2. i also played at 120 and it annoyed me at first. but after a while you get used to it and dont over/under compensate anymore. its worth it to be able to see around better if your the competitive type. if ur more into immersion and stuff then maybe not.
