I *strongly* recommend using the ALT grip though. You lose range, but you gain alot of speed and ability to drag.
Stab morph to overhead... omfg.
On that note, I use the over head almost by default. You can 1shot many players with a head shot.
I often riposte with either the overhead, but many guys parry that, so if I remember, I'll riposte with a slash coming from down, with strong acceleration, very difficult to parry
But, it is one of the least expensive weapons that can one hit kill vs T1 head protection. War axe can, but war axe is very short.
It chops up archers or pajama wearing zweihander users you sneak up on pretty great, because of that, while leaving more points to spare.
The war axe is also a good weapon with less reach but more damage. It can kill someone in T3 torso in 2 hits.
Not so dumb when you're killing people left and right.
It has a beard head for customization.
