Try "Hybrid" mode. Which seems to make it so all the little arrow does is determine left or right side, so M1 is always horizontal but you don't need two seperate buttons to decide if you want left or right horizontal.
(I cant find anything that explains what hybrid mode DOES, but it seems like the most well rounded joe average control setting for people without phone keypads on the side of their mouse)
Thanks for that advice, actually. I've been using the key directions and it's too limited so I was looking for something sort of in between. I rebound my mapping to have certain attacks bound to Q, E, Z, X, C but it can get tedious sometimes so I'll try out that hybrid mode and see if it helps.
