Try get both if you can. Both are amazing for different reasons.

if you want a single player game with god-like sword play, you should try exanima, its a isometric game based 100% on phisics

Mordhau has multiplayer, with a few game modes/maps and thats it, pretty much will last a few dozen hrs in-game then nothing left to do..... Kingdom ♥♥♥ can last a few days, ranging with lots of things to do, from cooking, stealing, sneaking, trading, sight seeing, harsh battles/dull missions, Kingdom Dump often makes u into a messenger boy, making you travel back and forth constantly just to talk to npcs, aswell as maintaining your gear.

There is a misconception about Mordhau that it will get boring after a few dozen hours or so. No, getting good at this game is the biggest selling point of it. It takes a lot of hours to get good and hone your skills, and this game makes you feel your improvement more than any other game. You can duel, play in frontline, tdm, skirmish, and they are all different experiences. Not to mention the mod support coming up. The possibilities are insane.

Mordhau is a game that feels like its from the old times of early 2004 gaming. The good old Counter Strike memories. You can just boot it up and play and most importantly its fun. I am not saying kingdom come is not fun, but its the kind of rpg fun where you have to really build your guy up, he cannot even read for the love of god..
This makes the game boring imo, the world is great and realistic but its not that fun. You will get bored quickly, I suggest kingdom come if you want a historically accurate story rpg with flaws and mordhau if you want a hard to master easy game that is fun and challenging at the same time

I will say Mordhau while it’s fresh and new, the majority of players are too, so you can get your skills up.

KCD will always be there to play.

KCD is amazing but it's singleplayer only.
Mordhau is amazing but it's multiplayer only.

Kingdom come has slow methodical melee combat and your character starts out a scrub. You have to take time and effort to get better with him. You have quests to do and a big open world. You will spend lots of time, even more so early on, not fighting.

Mordhau has faster more aggressive combat and that’s it. There is no character building outside of your loadouts. You start out a scrub as well, but it takes far less time to be a not scrub. There is only combat.
