So what use has the Pavise?

I mean if I want cover I can just build some barricades with my tool box.

Archers dont have toolboxes, if their alone and in need of cover they can just put one down, plus the reloading crossbow animation makes you bend over therefore gets your mercenary behind cover while reloading.

Oh and they can pick it up, unlike barricades.

The exact same use it had in real life. Place it down while using a bow or crossbow for cover and then pick it back up and move when needed.

Seems a bit of a wasted of points when you have a engineer on your team.

Yes the barricades can’t be pick up but you can just build new ones. XD

It's also a giant shield on your back, so if you turn around before reloading a crossbow it'll cover you from other archers.

But with the pavise, you choose when and how it's placed. You can also drop it down the very moment someone tries to run you down with a horse, possibly stopping them, giving you and/or your team time to kill them.

It dosen't cost a lot as an archer and building barricades is a waste of ressources and takes time build, not good when under fire, where as the pavise is just an instant put down.

I more play the engineer and combat medic kinda guy.

So I was interested if it had good use in this game. :D
