How do I throw regular weapons?

Like swords, I've seen it in a video, can;t find it in game. I mean throw, not drop

On large weapons, u cant throw those. On smaller swords and axes u press R to throw.

Mkay, but then I have a question about raider's axe for it R does nothing nor throw, or grip change. Is it supposed to be so?

His big axe, its grip changes but I don't get how it affects the weapon

you can throw the warhammer and the maul i think

Warhammer isn't throwable, maul is though.

It depends on the weapon. Some weapons can be thrown by pressing "r", others switch to an alternative mode.

Most of the one-handers, the maul, and war axe are the main weapons that can be thrown.
